By accessing or using www.janana.in (the "Website"), browsing our products, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms apply to all users of the Website, including visitors, customers, and vendors.

"JANANA," "We," "Us," "Our" refers to the brand JANANA, operated by Kashish Shah, including all employees, affiliates, and representatives.
"You," "Your," "Customer," "User" refers to any individual or entity accessing or purchasing from the Website.
"Parties" refers collectively to JANANA and You.
2. About JANANA
JANANA is an online store offering handcrafted clothing for women, including kurtis, bottoms, and related apparel made with traditional prints and natural fabrics. We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel any order at our sole discretion for any reason at any time.
3. User Account & Obligations
When you register on our Website or place an order, you may be required to provide personal information including your name, email address, phone number, and shipping/billing details. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Keep your login credentials confidential
- Notify us immediately at shop@janana.in if your account is compromised
- Not share your account with third parties
Providing false information or using the Website for fraudulent purposes may result in immediate termination of access and cancellation of your order.
4. Pricing & Payment
All prices listed on the Website are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.
For Domestic Orders (India):
The displayed price includes all applicable taxes and is the total cost for delivery within India.
For International Orders (Outside India):
The displayed price applies only to the product cost. International shipping fees, customs duties, import taxes, and any other levies are not included and will be charged separately or paid by the customer upon delivery. JANANA is unable to estimate these charges in advance. Final charges may vary based on the destination country and currency conversion rates.
Payment Method:
We currently accept online payments via Razorpay only. Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available at this time.
Order Confirmation:
Once payment is successfully processed, you will receive an order confirmation via email. We reserve the right to cancel any order if payment is declined, incomplete, or flagged as fraudulent.
5. Shipping & Delivery
We ship pan-India and internationally.
Domestic Shipping (India):
Estimated delivery time will be communicated at checkout. Delays due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, courier issues, holidays) are beyond our control.
International Shipping:
Products are shipped on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis. You are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and local charges imposed by your country. These must be paid for successful delivery.
Shipping timelines may vary based on location and customs clearance. JANANA is not responsible for delays caused by customs or courier services.
6. Exchange Policy
Returns: We do not accept returns once an order is placed.
Exchanges: We accept exchanges under the following conditions:
- Within 7 days of delivery
- Only for size-related issues (customer ordered the wrong size)
- Exchange is for the same product in a different size, subject to availability
- No refunds — exchanges only
Cost Responsibility:
- If JANANA shipped the wrong product or size: We cover all shipping costs
- If the customer ordered the wrong size: Customer covers return shipping cost
The replacement product will be shipped after the original item is received and passes our quality check.
Not Eligible for Exchange:
- Altered, customized, or tailored products
- Sale or discounted items
- Products showing signs of use, damage, or missing tags
- International orders (due to customs restrictions and sustainability considerations)
To initiate an exchange, contact us at shop@janana.in within 7 days of delivery.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website — including images, text, logos, designs, product descriptions, and graphics — is the property of JANANA and is protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You may not:
- Reproduce, copy, or distribute any content from the Website without written permission
- Use JANANA's name, logo, or branding for commercial purposes
- Register similar trademarks, trade names, or domain names
Unauthorized use of our intellectual property will result in legal action.
